About Us
The New Ross Family Resource Centre is a non-profit organization responsible for bringing health and well-being programs to the residents of New Ross and surrounding areas. Our Centre has been in operation since March of 1997. It is located in the “Old School House” behind the New Ross Consolidated School. Our goal is to make the New Ross area a comfortable, well-serviced community with many of the amenities provided in larger areas.
Thanks to the commitment of our board of directors and staff, our programming is evolving to meet the current needs of our community. We offer several programs, primarily consisting of parenting programs and food security.
We are funded through the Department of Opportunities and Social Development for our core programming. We apply for numerous grants that enable us to expand our scope of programs and services to the community. Our income-generating activities, such as room rentals, allow us to do community-based activities such as holiday parties at no cost to our families!
