  • Daycare: The New Ross Community Day Care is a licensed 12 space center serving children aged 18 mths – 5 years, open 5 days/wk 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, located upstairs at the New Ross Family Resource Centre.  It was born out of a need in our community for affordable, family-centered, quality childcare. It opened its doors in September 2018 guided by its philosophy: “by working together, we will build a warm, friendly environment that nurtures and develops your child’s sense of themselves, and those around them. Through play, we will support your child’s learning as they discover, create, improvise and imagine. We believe in building trusting relationships between children and providers to make your child feel more confident and able to explore and learn. We will offer your child the care, comfort, fun, and safety they deserve to assure parents their children are in the best of hands. It is our philosophy that the NRCD is an extension of the family unit and an important part of our community”. For more information contact the daycare at 902-277-2533 or email at newross.communitypreschool@gmail.com. You can also check them out on Facebook, at New Ross Day Care.   This program is not run by our Centre, but is offered in our Centre, and is run under its own Board of Directors.
